Situation
The apartment building is located on the world-famous Höheweg not far from the Höhematte. This part of Höheweg can only be used by public transport and therefore there is hardly any through traffic. The location is excellent; shopping facilities, banks, the train station and post office, as well as bus stops and schools are all just a few steps away
Municipality
Around the year 1130, Baron von Oberhofen built a house of prayer between Lakes Thun and Brienz, from which the Augustinian monastery of Interlaken emerged. This is where we first come across the name "Interlacus". Bern closed the monastery inn in 1527, but no one paid any attention to this decision and the inn continued to enjoy great popularity as a rest stop for commercial travelers, and in the 18th century more and more travelers took advantage of the inn, who were also just traveling for pleasure or to broaden their horizons. RENTAL TERM
The rental agreement is concluded for a fixed term of five years and cannot be terminated. After expiry, the contract is extended for a further five years if it is not terminated by the tenant by registered letter at least 12 months before expiry of the contract (longer rental period possible on request).
RENTAL DEPOSIT
The amount of the rent deposit is determined by agreement. This deposit is due after signing the rental agreement and must be paid into the deposit account set up for this purpose before the start of the rental period (it is also possible to provide a bank guarantee from a Swiss bank)
